Peratallada,
officially declared historical and artistic place, is
one of the most important medieval architecture sites
in the Empordà.
The town maintains its medieval urban planning, from
the Main Square, with its unique porches, to the network
of narrow little streets, where we may discover an interesting
ensemble of popular architecture.
One of the greatest attractions of Peratallada is that
its inhabitants have known to maintain its rural characteristics,
faithfully keeping its architectonic and urban origins,
while offering the visitor a suggestive offer of arts
and crafts and excellent cuisine of supreme quality
arising from the deepest roots that have conferred the
Empordà its unique character. |
